Cool tattoos can be hard to find. So many people have tattoos now, that the amount of lame tattoos have increased greatly. It can be very difficult to find some real gem of designs. There are all kinds of online galleries with at best average designs.
So where can you find cool tattoos? Check out these options:
1. Tattoo magazines.
Hit up your local bookstore and head for the magazine section. Look for tattoo magazines, there should be a decent selection. Next, start sifting through the mags (usually the chain bookstores will allow you to browse for hours, even all day!) Now, there will be a lot of designs, and maybe many that you don't care for, but you should find some good ones and if nothing else you could get inspired by seeing a new style or design idea. Only buy the magazine if you find some good designs you like, and especially if they give some info on the particular artist, then you can get online and try to find other designs from him or her.
2. Tattoo Membership Galleries Online.
While I mentioned a lot of tattoo galleries online don't have cool tattoos, only average at best, the one exception are tattoo membership galleries. These membership sites will require you to pay a one time fee to get access to the hundreds of high quality designs. This is a good thing! If it were free, then you'd have every wannabee tattoo yahoo out there logging on and getting the same tattoos! But a good pay gallery will actually have thousands and thousands of cool designs to choose from. It's definitely worth it.

This ancient form of art has now become a style in this generation and it's popularity has risen significantly.
The word tattoo is derived from the Polynesian word 'Tatao', which means 'To tap'. It describes the techniques by which sharp spines, loaded with color were inserted into the skin for making beautiful tribal designs. Tattoos have gained importance over the years and there are lots people who are opting for the tattooing of beautiful figures on their body.
The designing of tattoos varies with each person, no two tattoos are exactly alike. Whenever deciding what the right tattoo is a person should think about the following thoughts:

Devon getting henna tattoos on her hands. Her ...Image via Wikipedia
Tattoos are cool! Really, really cool. However, they might look great now, but will they still look great in 20 years time? 30 years time? How about 50 years time? I'd like to argue the case for henna tattoos, so below are 5 reasons why henna is best! These beautiful creations can make you look strikingly beautiful - and you can change your mind!
Five Reasons Why Henna is Best.
  • The main difference between a henna tattoo and a permanent tattoo, is that the latter one is a permanent one and will remain on your body for the rest of your life whereas the former is a temporary one and lasts for 2 or 3 weeks. So, you can get sick of it and you don't have to resort to surgery to remove it!
  • Having a henna tattoo doesn't hurt!. However, applying a permanent tattoo on the body can be a painful procedure and even after application of the tattoo it hurts for a couple of weeks or so.
  • As henna tattoos fade, you can have a new henna tattoo design (such as stars, flowers, hearts, dragonflies etc) over and over again on the same bit of skin, whereas a permanent tattoo cannot be removed easily. So, with henna, you can follow trends without ending up with blue skin as you try to find a tiny space to squeeze in yet another tattoo as the old ones you have become dated and give your age away.
  • Henna tattoos are cheap and are easily available. If you are creative, you can even sit in the comfort of your own home and apply them yourself. Get really good at it, and you can make some money in your spare time offering them to others. Permanent tattoos require an expert to apply them, they are costly and they hurt. An expert at applying henna tattoos can recreate patterns that uncannily resemble permanent tattoos, if that is the look that you want.
  • Since henna is a natural product and widely known and used, there is very low risk of side-effects or skin infections. Permanent tattoo disasters, whilst unusual, are a complete nightmare.
